«Pharmstandard» is the leader of the domestic pharmaceutical industry. According to the «Pharmexpert» data during the nine months in 2008 «Pharmstandard» took the first position in the commercial market segment and the second position among all pharmaceutical companies, being the only domestic company among the top ten ladders of the pharmaceutical production in Russian Federation. «Pharmstandard» portfolio counts more than 200 different drugs, mainly for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, growth hormone deficiency, gastroenterology, neurological, infectious diseases, metabolic disorders, cancer and other diseases, where 90 of them are included in the «List of Vital Drugs».
«Nizhpharm» is one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Russian Federation. Over the past 86 years Nizhpharm develops, produces and sells the medicines. Nowadays, Nizhpharm product portfolio has more than 100 items. These drugs are either their own products or STADA holding production. The availability of STADA products in Nizhpharm portfolio is due to entering the structure of the international holding STADA in January 2005. This entrance gives an opportunity to offer Russian consumers a wider range of high-quality, effective and affordable medicines, as well as an additional guarantee of the Nizhpharm production quality.
In June, 2006 between OAO «Tathimpharmpreparaty» and the Czech company FAVEA was signed a contract on realization of new-build plant for the solid dosage forms production. Characteristics of the production: the total area of clean and controlled space - around 2100 sq. m. 
ZAO NPC “Borshchiagovsky Chemical-Pharmaceutical Plant” (“BHFZ”) located in the capital city of Ukraine is one of the leaders according to the volume of production and sales medicines among the Ukrainian pharmaceutical industry and may be an example of successful market-oriented reforms in our country.
In October of 1930 in the Ukrainian capital city Kiev was established the branch of Ukrainian Institute of Experimental Endocrinology. No one expected that the new institute building, constructed in 1938 at city`s district Darnitsky, will form the basis of Ukraine's largest chemical and pharmaceutical associations - «Darnitsa». «Darnitsa» gave a strong impulse to the development of the modern pharmaceutical industry in Ukraine. From 1994 begins the modern history of the chemical-pharmaceutical association «Darnitsa», which was reorganized into ZAO “Pharmaceutical company “Darnitsa”.
